Not often I write about a building. However I was in one yesterday thats worth a mention. The new V&A at Dundee. I was up working with the University of Abertay, Dundee. Worked with them many times over the years and a great organisation to work with.
However te4h V&A has me thinking; the building is an architectural wonder and its presence on the waterside is stunning, The display inside on the upper floor was again a nice spend of an hour. However a lot of unudsed space - the bottom floor is mainly a lareg expensive cafe and a shop... not much else for a gallery of that size. Could it be that as tiem goes on, more art will be shown throughout the building and not just in one room or in a further gallery which you need to pay to get into?
