This has led to us becoming one of Scotland’s “go to” privately owned organisations for financial management and business support for Economic Development functions.
Supporting Organisations Across Scotland
From our office in the heart of Ayrshire, we have been supporting Ayrshire Businesses since 2008 by delivering our wide range of services. These include financial management, financial strategy, cloud accounting, profit and growth workshops, classes and seminars. In our workshops, we work alongside Business Gateway and support their programmes with University of West of Scotland and Princes Foundation Business Skills programme.
We have been working in Dumfries and Galloway since our inception in 2008, supporting several local businesses and third sector organisations. We have done a lot of work in helping organisations to develop their financial strategy, financial systems, and financial control. We continue to support the Business Gateway and Economic Development team and South of Scotland Enterprise working on business planning, strategy and financial forecasts for many businesses. These range from new start-ups right through to multi-million-pound developments.
As soon as a business calls East Renfrewshire Business Gateway, right through to reporting to the Local Authority and National Government, CJM manage and deliver the end-to-end process. We provide business information officers, business advisers and expert consultants. We support local business with ‘Meet the Adviser’ sessions, drop-in sessions, expert help and consultancy. We deliver around 100 workshops and seminars each year covering a range of topics from start-up, through to marketing, self-assessment, strategy and social media.
Since 2018 we have been providing support to the Fife Business Gateway function in the delivery of financial management and accountancy expert help and surgeries. Fife has a diverse economy including working both with town and city-based business and as a wide range of rural economy business.
Financial Seminars and Workshops in Moray
Our founder, Colin McNally, spent his early career working for Diageo Plc working alongside the managers of the many Speyside distilleries in and around Moray. He is delighted to be back working in Moray again, delivering workshops, seminars, expert help and sector specific workshops. He also carries out consultancy work across a wide range of topics including financial, HR, web, strategy and marketing among others.
Over the years, CJM has worked with many clients across Scotland, England, Northern Ireland, Eire and even as far away as South Africa. This has included working with many private businesses and third sector organisations. We have been part of improvements in financial strategy, developing business cases, options appraisal and feasibility studies. These improvements have come across a number of sectors, including heritage, engineering, tourism, hospitality and retail.
Currently we design and deliver the Business Gateway National Business Webinar programme, delivering more than 100 webinars to over 5000 attendees.
