About the Company
The organisation is a welcoming place to enjoy a range of teas, coffees, hot chocolates, hearty breakfasts, light snacks, or freshly baked scones and cakes while relaxing with friends. However, the organisation has wider reaching objectives and a unique community vision. Its core objective is to create employability and wider citizenship opportunities for young adults with additional support needs. The organisation helps these people work towards achieving various qualifications including SVQ Level 1 Hospitality.
What is the Challenge?
Support Provided
By reviewing the current revenue streams of the organisation, CJM worked with a range of stakeholders to understand what the potential was for establishing new income streams, while developing and growing the existing areas of revenue.
Several options were considered, valued, market researched and analysed. The board was presented with a selection of potential income opportunities which we felt made sense for the company and would help them to achieve their revenue goals.
Outcome
Having taken on board all of the research and information provided to them by CJM, the organisation was able to start putting their growth plans into place and is now in the process of developing a second venue. The new facility will be located in a newly built educational and training establishment and represents the sustainable progress of the organisation.
